Your Role as a Special Education Paraprofessional: 
<ul>
<li>Assist with the implementation of the students Individualized Education (IEP). </li>
<li>Implement appropriate behavior management strategies and techniques. </li>
<li>Observe/Record data related to behavioral concerns to assess/monitor the progress of the student. </li>
<li>Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to support clients' behavioral and developmental needs. </li>
<li>Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your expertise in behavior management and techniques. </li>
<li>Assist students within the classroom/program setting during participation in special subjects such as Physical Education, Vocational programs, and Field trips. </li>
</ul>
Required Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li>
<li>Genuine passion for working with children, demonstrating patience and compassion. </li>
</ul>
Preferred (Nice to Have) Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>An associate's degree or higher or completed at least two years of postsecondary study; or successful completion of a state or locally developed assessment. </li>
<li>Experience working with children with special needs or autism through volunteer work, employment, or other relevant experiences.</li>

Your Role as a Special Education Teacher:

Required Qualifications:
