Position Overview
As an Electrical Construction Project Manager, you will ensure seamless communication with the site coordinator and foster commendable relations with General Contractor Superintendents and Office staff. We are looking for Construction Superintendent candidates to join our Field Operations team for projects located at King's Bay, Georgia (located on an active military base). Superintendents are responsible for the daily supervision, direction, and coordination of all construction work activities, assigned employees, and subcontractors on a project job site, to safely produce quality work, within the project requirements (i.e., RFP, plans, specifications, and proposal documents) targeted budget, schedule, and in alignment with RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values. Candidates local to projects will be given priority, though relocation to on-site management may be required for the Superintendent position.
Pay: $110-$150K per year

REQUIREMENTS:

<li>A high school diploma or GED is the minimum formal education required for this position.</li>
<li>College courses or degree in construction management, engineering, etc. preferred.</li>
<li>Five or more years work experience in a Superintendent position (e.g., scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, safety, and production of all phases in construction) on medium-sized projects is required with four or more years (or equivalent) field or trade work experience in the construction industry required; government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred. Work in the design-build industry and on large-sized projects is preferred.</li>

Skilled Construction Laborer

The City of McMinnville is looking for an energetic and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator for our Water Maintenance Department. This position plays an important role in maintaining the water and sewer lines throughout the City. Position will operate various heavy equipment as well as hand powered tools and manual tools. Examples of equipment operation include front-end loaders, bulldozers, and backhoes, etc. in a variety of maintenance and construction tasks.
This is a non-exempt hourly position with starting pay of $20.30. The position offers opportunity for growth through obtaining collection and distribution licenses. 
Hours are Monday through Friday, 4 - 10 hour days. On-call requirements are 1 week every 8-10 weeks with additional pay. 
The City of McMinnville offers great benefits and time off. The City pays over 80% of employees' medical premium plus offers a wellness and tobacco free discount on the monthly premium up to $150. Life Insurance for the employee and family and long-term disability for the employee is covered at no charge to the employee. Vision / Dental and short-term disability is available.

We are looking to hire a skilled Combination Pipe Welder to join our Mechanical team for ongoing work at King's Bay Naval Base, GA. All work is to be performed on the military base and is paid the required Davis-Bacon prevailing wage, specific to the military base. Our Combination Welder will be responsible for using hand-welding, flame cutting, hand soldering, or brazing equipment to weld or join metal components. This position will require the ability to pass groove-weld qualification tests in all positions for multiple materials and processes using both Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) as well as Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) as necessary. All work is completed on an active construction site, and in accordance with relevant codes. Work involves technical application of mechanical welding principles. This is all to be done using the appropriate equipment and implementing the required safety practices in support of RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.
Pay: $45.15 - $50.00 per hour
