<li>Perform routine inspections to identify and address potential issues after they become major problems.</li>
<li>Diagnose and repair faults in DDC systems including valves, actuators, sensors, and other related components.</li>
<li>Collaborate with other team members to identify and resolve complex issues.</li>
<li>Conduct testing and calibrations of DDC devices to ensure accurate and efficient system performance.</li>
<li>Implement adjustments to optimize control processes and enhance overall system functionality.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.</li>

Education, Experience and Certification
<ul>
<li> High School Diploma or equivalent</li>
<li>5 years' experience as a control technician in a commercial or institutional setting</li>
</ul>
Working Conditions
<ul>
<li>Must be able to lift 50 lbs., squat, bend, stoop and kneel for short periods, climb a ladder, stand for long periods of time, constant arm extensions.</li>
<li>Occasional exposure to elements such as heat, cold, noise, dust, dirt, chemicals, but none to the point of being disagreeable. May involve minor safety hazards where likely result would be cuts, bruises, etc.</li>
<li>Must be able to pass a local background check and have the ability to obtain and maintain NAC/LAC clearance after hire.</li>
</ul>
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
<ul>
<li>Excellent oral and written communication skills</li>
<li>Knowledge of computer software programs to include Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook required</li>
<li>Experience with a Facility Computerized Maintenance Management System software (CMMS) highly desired</li>
<li>Certified Controls Systems Technician (CCST) level 1 certification required or able to obtain within 6 months of hire date</li>
<li>Knowledge of controls techniques, tools, materials, and codes</li>
<li>Ability to read and follow codes, standards, and regulations.</li>
<li>Ability to install, repair and maintain various types of building automation systems and equipment</li>
<li>Ability to work with computer software and hardware</li>
<li>Ability to program and calibrate devices, monitor and optimize system performance</li>
<li>Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li>
<li>Ability to lift and carry heavy objects</li>
<li>Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines</li>
<li>Ability to communicate effectively with staff, contractors, and vendors </li>
