Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Applies acoustical tiles or shock-absorbing materials to ceilings and walls of buildings to reduce or reflect sound and to decorate rooms.</li>
<li>Washes concrete surfaces with washing soda and zinc sulfate solution before mounting tile to increase adhesive qualities of surfaces.</li>
<li>Inspects furring, mechanical mountings, and masonry surface for plumbness and level, using laser or water level.</li>
<li>Hangs dry lines (stretched string) to wall molding to guide positioning of main runners.</li>
<li>Nails or screws molding to wall to support and seal joint between ceiling tile and wall.</li>
<li>Scribes and cuts edges of tile to fit wall where wall molding is not specified.</li>
<li>Nails channels or wood furring strips to surfaces to provide mounting for tile.</li>
<li>Measures and marks surface to lay out work according to blueprints and drawings.</li>
<li>Cuts tiles for fixture and borders, using keyhole saw, and inserts tiles into supporting framework.</li>
<li>Applies cement to back of tile and presses tile into place, aligning with layout marks and joints of previously laid tile.</li>

Cultura escolar equitativa e inclusiva

<li>Modelar conductas y actos ticos, equitativos y profesionales con integridad, justicia, competencia cultural y empata con estudiantes y colegas.</li>
<li>Contribuir a una cultura escolar profesional enfocada en desarrollar confianza relacional con colegas y desarrollar la capacidad de cada uno para promover el desarrollo social, emocional y acadmico de cada estudiante; servir como maestra(o) mentor para maestras(os) de apoyo</li>
<li>Establecer metas de aprendizaje personal y profesional para promover el bienestar y mejorar la prctica profesional; asistir al instituto de verano y a las sesiones semanales de desarrollo profesional</li>
<li>Participar en ciclos de entrenamiento y desarrollo profesional dirigidos por el Director(a) de Enseanza y Aprendizaje y otros lderes educativos</li>
<li>Fomenta las relaciones de trabajo abiertas, productivas, colaborativas y de confianza entre administradores, maestros y personal para promover un entorno de mejora continua</li>

<li>Desarrollar un entorno de aprendizaje positivo y de apoyo centrado en elevar la voz de los estudiantes y utilizar los datos de los estudiantes para dirigir el desarrollo, el crecimiento, y los logros de los estudiantes</li>

Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment
<ul>
<li>Desarrollar planes de lecciones y ensear todas las materias bsicas: artes del lenguaje en ingls (y estudios sociales), artes del lenguaje mandarn (y cultura) o artes del lenguaje espaol (y cultura), as como matemticas y ciencias.</li>
<li>Utilizar prcticas culturalmente sostenibles y anti sesgo/antirracistas (junto con datos) para informar y guiar la instruccin diaria; incorporar las culturas, los intereses y las experiencias de los estudiantes en las lecciones y actividades</li>
<li>Establecer metas claras y medibles durante todo el ao para cada estudiante en todas las reas de estudio; evaluar regularmente el progreso de cada nio y brindando instruccin diferenciada y centrada en el nio para satisfacer las necesidades de cada nio diariamente</li>
<li>Participar activamente en ciclos y protocolos de anlisis de datos para evaluar y aumentar el rigor, la coherencia, el impacto y la equidad de la currcula, la instruccin, y la evaluacin.</li>
<li>Planifique semanalmente en colaboracin con los maestros lderes y los equipos de enseanza para desarrollar planes de lecciones holsticos que fomenten el aprendizaje autodirigido.</li>
<li>Garantizar que cada estudiante tenga acceso equitativo a los materiales del saln, textos, recursos y oportunidades de aprendizaje, apoyo acadmico y socioemocional y otros recursos en el segundo idioma.</li>

Apoyo estudiantil equitativo e inclusivo
<ul>
<li>Contribuir a un entorno de aprendizaje inclusivo, equitativo, afectuoso y culturalmente competente que satisfaga las necesidades acadmicas, sociales, emocionales y fsicas de cada estudiante</li>
<li>Mantiene polticas de comportamiento estudiantil positivas, justas, e imparciales que se enfocan en la reconciliacin de relaciones y el cambio de comportamiento</li>
<li>Trabaja en colaboracin con los maestros y el personal para reconocer las fortalezas y diferencias de cada estudiante como activos para la enseanza y el aprendizaje</li>
<li>Utilizar los datos de desempeo y colocacin de los estudiantes, as como los datos de la cultura escolar, para promover una mayor inclusin, cuidado, equidad, y cierre de brechas de oportunidades</li>
</ul>

<li>Servir como miembro del equipo de apoyo estudiantil (SST) e implementar un sistema de apoyos de varios niveles para satisfacer las necesidades de todos los nios, incluidas las poblaciones especiales</li>

Requisitos para ser maestra(o) principal:
<ul>
<li>Licenciatura o Maestra en Educacin o Currculo e Instruccin</li>
<li>Se prefiere al menos dos aos de experiencia como maestra(o)</li>
<li>Se prefiere la licencia de enseanza, pero no se requiere</li>
<li>Profunda experiencia y conocimiento de los estndares de aprendizaje y el currculo centrado en el estudiante</li>
<li>Hablar, leer y escribir con fluidez en chino mandarn o Espaol.</li>
<li>Un individuo enrgico, flexible, creativo e innovador que puede desarrollar planes de apoyo centrados en el estudiante y basados en fortalezas que apoyen el aprendizaje de estudiantes de diversas habilidades, incluidos aquellos con varias excepcionalidades identificadas.</li>
<li>Capacidad para sobresalir como miembro de un equipo multidisciplinario y un equipo de instruccin</li>
<li>Capacidad para trabajar en un entorno multicultural y multilinge</li>
<li>Fuertes habilidades de comunicacin (tanto oral como escrita)</li>
</ul>

Compensacin
 
El salario para este puesto es competitivo y oscila entre $60,000 a $80,000. Adems, Global Citizens PCS ofrece un paquete integral de beneficios.
