Job Overview:
This brand-new state-of-the-art facility is scheduled to open in April 2025. Interviews will begin in March 2025.
We are looking for technicians/mechanics who are energetic, upbeat, and have a positive attitude. The technicians we are looking for have to seek out solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what’s right for our guests.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
<ul>
<li>Technicians use their knowledge &amp; skills to diagnose and fix vehicles for our guest&nbsp;</li>
<li>Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles</li>
<li>Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections</li>
<li>Work as part of a team to troubleshoot customer concerns quickly and effectively</li>
<li>Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization</li>
<li>Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate customer concerns&nbsp;</li>
<li>Work together with other Technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results</li>
</ul>
 Qualifications 
Qualifications:&nbsp;
<ul>
<li>Positive attitude and a desire to serve guest</li>
<li>3+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic</li>
<li>ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve</li>
<li>Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles</li>
<li>Meet or exceed hourly goals</li>
<li>Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes</li>
<li>Professional appearance and strong communication</li>
<li>A desire for long-term career development</li>
</ul>
Physical Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds</li>
<li>Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head</li>
<li>Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repair</li>
<li>Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools</li>
<li>Walk/stand for the majority of their workday</li>
<li>Drive manual transmissions vehicles</li>
<li>Efficiently navigate a computer</li>
</ul>

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Interact with children and families inside our family friendly attractions and zones • Transform into a friendly creature with full makeup and costumes • Greet and interact with the public at special park functions • Take on a character role during Boo Fest. Think fairies, sprites, scarecrows, witches, etc. • Maintain a friendly character persona and safety at all times • Be playful and friendly with an outgoing personality • Work in an environment as fast-paced as our coasters • Remain in character at all times • Create a family friendly, positive experience for guests of all ages • Wear assigned make-up masks, costumes, prosthetics, and other costuming materials as necessary • Operate a small prop • Listen to direction from attractions leadership • Keep escape routes and work locations clean Skills and Qualifications:
• Must be at least 15 years of age, by 8/15/2025 • Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, and crouch for extended periods of time • Must be willing to perform in an enclosed costume with limited sightlines • Specific height and weight may be required for proper fit in specific costumes • Must have a good attitude, appearance, and participate as a member of a team • Must be able to cooperate well with other staff • Must be able to comply with Six Flags policy and standards • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including daytime hours, weekends, and holidays • Must be available for rehearsals/training starting in early September • Must be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions • Must be professional, self-motivated, the ability to multi-task and have an enthusiastic attitude • Must have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with others
Other Functions: All other duties assigned or necessary to support the park as a whole.

Job Description 
<ul>
<li>Perform brakes, suspension, tire installation, scheduled maintenance, and all manner of automotive repairs and maintenance, that you are qualified to perform</li>
<li>Secure our guests approval to perform the work as a result of the diagnosis; and always maintain a clean, neat work area</li>
<li>Complete thorough automotive vehicle inspections on every vehicle you service and perform any repairs and maintenance</li>
<li>Test drive guest vehicles and use our shop truck in a safe manner to pick up inventory as needed</li>
<li>Collaborate with teammates and provide leadership to General Service Technicians</li>

Compensation based on experience: Flat rate pay $25.00 - $32.00 based on Experience.
Qualifications

<li>High school or GED equivalent.</li>
<li>2+ years of automotive technician experience</li>
<li>Valid Driver License</li>
<li>Own a basic set of automotive tools or participate in tool purchase program.</li>
<li>Ability to work with hands overhead, stand for long periods and lift 50 lbs.</li>
