<li>Complete all electronic data entry and paperwork including service reports, time entry, warranty tickets and inspections.</li>

Position Summary/Objective:
The Cultivation Technician is responsible for assisting the managers in the day-to-day functions of the cultivation production areas, including propagation, cultivation, and harvest, as well as the post-harvest activities related to curing, trimming, packaging, and storing finished product. The Cultivation Technician is a detail-oriented, operational team player with strong communication skills.
 
Cultivation Technicians are an integral part of the cultivation and post-harvest team. By reporting the conditions observed of both the environment and crops, they help guide the overall success of every production cycle. No detail is too small, and a strong understanding of all the components needed to carry out each task is necessary for success. Additionally, minimizing miscommunications and taking seriously the concerns of other cultivation team members ensures a safe and responsible workplace. Specifically, the care with which clones are taken and maintained, plants are up-potted, how trellis is applied, pests are identified and reported, finished plants are harvested, and waste properly disposed of are at the forefront of the technician's priorities.
 
Cultivation Technicians have the distinction of participating heavily in quality control over all product the facility furnishes for stores and vendors. It is also a phase of the production cycle which requires daily interaction to prevent excessive moisture loss or conversely allowing any molds or bacteria to proliferate. There are many levels of quality control that multiple departments participate in, but the short time spent with the post-harvest team is crucial, considering its frequent handling and contact with multiple containers and surfaces. The Cultivation Technician's role in maintaining a sanitary and organized inventory of product depends upon the detail and thoughtfulness s/he exhibits in this position; primarily, the ability to effectively compartmentalize strains, batches, and corresponding numeric values to reduce any confusion or mislabeling.
 
We are seeking a passionate, driven, detail-oriented and collaborative Cultivation Technician to support the company's cultivation and post-harvest activities. The ideal candidate has the ability to adapt to our business model and is a collaborative team player but also a self-starter. Previous cannabis cultivation experience is not required. Role reports to the Cultivation Manager. 
 
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Environmental checks &amp; ongoing observation</li>
<li>Cloning</li>
<li>Transplanting</li>
<li>Pruning</li>
<li>Trellising</li>
<li>Harvesting</li>
<li>Correctly utilizing appropriate checklists, logs, process flow charts, and standard operating procedures</li>
<li>Cleaning &amp; sanitizing</li>
<li>Monitoring environment in cure areas</li>
<li>Protecting finished product from waste or loss</li>
<li>Trimming</li>
<li>Sorting usable product and trim into distinct batches</li>
<li>Packaging product and trim</li>
<li>Correctly utilizing appropriate checklists, logs, process flow charts, and standard operating procedures</li>
<li>Facilitating accurate inventory control at all steps</li>
<li>Cleaning &amp; sanitizing</li>
<li>Keep work and break areas free of clutter and debris</li>
<li>Ensure work uniforms are as clean as possible</li>
<li>Communicate effectively with others in cultivation and other departments</li>
<li>Update any personal information which may be required for contact, payment, benefits, tax purposes, or similar contained in an employee's personnel file</li>
</ul>
 
Qualifications:
Required Experience, Education and Skills:
<ul>
<li> Minimum of one year cannabis growing/trimming/industry experience preferred</li>
<li>Certification(s)/education in agricultural, horticultural, or botanical practices</li>
<li> Previous experience with inventory software, Excel, and Google spreadsheets</li>
<li> Education in agriculture, horticulture, or botany preferred but not necessary</li>
</ul>
 
Other Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Must be 21 years of age or older to apply</li>
<li>Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry</li>
<li>Ability to work weekends/holidays</li>
<li>Ability to perform activities for up to 8 hours a day</li>
<li>Extended time sitting, walking, bending, and reaching is possible</li>
<li>Ability to lift and carry up to 55 pounds for a distance of 100 feet</li>
<li>Must pass stringent background test requirements of Pennsylvania</li>
