What you will be doing...

· Work collaboratively across function areas the organization to launch software development locally and foster best practices, team unity, and development of world class software.

· Lead the effort to research, design, and document, modify, enhance and support software specifications throughout the development lifecycle.

· Evangelist for best development practices across the organization.

Is your background a fit? We are looking for...

• 5+ years of hands on experience architecting and building large scale data processing infrastructure and customer-centric platforms
  

• Experience in JavaScript and Python
  

• Experience with at least one system language (Java, C++)
  

• Strong proficiency with NodeJS, developing REST APIs, Docker, AWS ECS, Linux/UNIX
  

• Backend experience working with databases
  

• Strong understanding of engineering software processes, life-cycle methodology, configuration management, release management, and system verification and testing
