We have been retained by an elite, award-winning boutique law firm to recruit a seasoned Senior Real Estate Litigator to join their sophisticated litigation practice.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as first-chair trial counsel on complex real property disputes, including commercial lease, partnership and joint venture, hospitality, zoning, condemnation, and environmental litigation.
- Manage high-stakes litigation matters throughout the entire life cycle—from pre-litigation counseling and pleadings through discovery, dispositive motions, trial, and settlement.
- Serve as a core subject-matter authority and strategic resource for the firm's real estate transactional practice group.
- Provide direct leadership, supervision, and mentorship to mid-level and junior litigation associates.
- Leverage firm-provided resources and marketing budgets to cultivate existing relationships and actively drive business development.

Candidate Qualifications
\n

- 12–15+ years of dedicated commercial litigation experience, with an extensive, demonstrable focus in real estate litigation.
- Substantial first-chair trial and courtroom experience handling multi-faceted property and contract disputes.
- Proven track record of business generation or a demonstrated commitment to expanding an active practice.
- Superior drafting, dispute-negotiation, case-management, and organizational capabilities under demanding deadlines.
- Energetic team player and mentor who thrives in a dynamic, high-performance environment.
- Admission in good standing to the New York State Bar.
- Annual Billable Expectation: 1,800 hours.

Salary and Other Compensation:
\n
The annual salary for this position is between $300,000 – $400,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
