Job Summary:

At Pine Haven Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, we are seeking an experienced and compassionate Activities Assistant to join our dynamic team in Philmont, New York. As a valued member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by planning and implementing engaging activities that promote socialization, mental and physical stimulation, and overall well-being.

Activities Assistant Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate activities that cater to the diverse interests and abilities of our residents, including events, outings, and in-house programs

• Collaborate with the activities director to develop and implement a comprehensive activities calendar that meets the needs and preferences of our residents

• Lead and assist with activities in a variety of settings, including the community room, outdoor spaces, and resident rooms

• Develop and maintain relationships with local community organizations and vendors to arrange off-site excursions and events

• Assist with maintaining accurate records of resident participation and activity schedules

• Support the activities department with administrative tasks, such as planning, budgeting, and reporting

• Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and staff to ensure seamless execution of activities and programs

Activities Assistant Requirements:
