Client: Medical Device Manufacturing Company
Duration: 3 Months (Possibility of Extension)
Location: Grand Rapids, MI 49504
Shift: 2nd Shift (Training on 1st Shift)
Description:
Job Summary
- Maintain accurate, secure, and accessible inventory records for raw materials, subassemblies, and finished goods.
- Perform physical inventory counts, reconcile records, and verify incoming and outgoing shipment quantities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain inventory controls and ensure materials are properly identified, stored, and accessible to authorized personnel.
- Conduct physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies with inventory records.
- Verify quantities of incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production and sales to support operational requirements.
- Support shipping, receiving, inventory control, and storage activities while following established procedures.
Required Skills & Experience
- Little to no prior experience required; entry-level candidates are welcome.
- Ability to follow standard work instructions, policies, procedures, and inventory control processes.
- Basic recordkeeping and data accuracy skills to support inventory tracking and reconciliation.
- Ability to communicate clearly and work under supervision in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
Desired Skills
- Previous exposure to inventory control, shipping, receiving, warehousing, or manufacturing operations.
