Job Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair aerial work platforms, including boom lifts and scissor lifts.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on telescopic forklifts and telehandlers.
- Assist with light crane maintenance and repair work.
- Inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair portable air compressors.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical equipment issues.
- Repair and replace damaged or worn equipment components.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance, inspections, and equipment servicing.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic systems, hoses, fittings, pumps, and cylinders.
- Safely operate equipment to test functionality and verify completed repairs.
- Utilize personal hand tools and mechanical equipment to complete repairs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop.
- Follow all company safety procedures and equipment maintenance guidelines.
- Work independently and alongside experienced technicians to complete assigned repairs.
Key Requirements
- Previous mechanical, equipment maintenance, or repair experience preferred.
- Hydraulic system troubleshooting and repair experience is a plus.
- Experience operating heavy equipment, forklifts, aerial lifts, or similar machinery preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment problems.
- Must have your own tools.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Basic understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems preferred.
- Must be willing to learn new equipment and repair procedures.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with a team.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be comfortable working on dirty, heavy equipment in a warehouse/shop environment with varying hot and cold temperatures.
- Ability to perform physically demanding maintenance and repair tasks.
- Must be able to complete required pre-employment screening.
Shifts:
- Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
