The Warehouse Associate - Forklift Operator plays a critical role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations by handling inventory movement safely and accurately. This position requires proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to support timely shipping, receiving, and storage activities.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials within the warehouse
- Receive and unload incoming shipments and verify contents against shipping documents
- Organize and store inventory systematically for easy retrieval
- Prepare orders for shipment by picking, packing, and labeling products accurately
- Maintain clean and safe warehouse environment following safety protocols
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report any defects
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals
