Supervisory Responsibilities: None\n
\n
Purpose: To inspect work-in-process and final products to ensure conformance to product requirements, conformance with procedures, work instructions, and quality documentation.\n
\n
Duties/Responsibilities: \n
\n
- \n
- Ensure a safe work environment for self and others. Follow all safety rules and regulations. Demonstrate commitment to safety program.
- Perform inspections per inspection reports
- May conduct audits of finished goods material per inspection reports
- May perform sort and rework functions as directed
- Proficient in the use of mechanical inspection equipment including calipers, micrometers, indicators, go/no go gauges, and other mechanical inspection equipment
- Accurately complete reports and all necessary paper work for the jobs
- Ability to regularly meet or exceed efficiency requirements
- Actively participates in CIP events to improve the safety, quality, and efficiencies of our current processes and procedures
- Support and positively contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
- Communicates with supervisor and co-workers in a professional manner
- Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Minimum Requirements: \n

Education & Experience:\n
\n

- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Manufacturing experience in die casting desired but not required
\n
\n
\n
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:\n

- Ability to follow work instructions
- Must be detail oriented, with the ability to recognize defects and non-conformities
- Regular attendance

Physical Demands\n
\n

- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs, occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 lbs, rarely lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to stand up to 100% of shift
- Ability to do repetitive movements (i.e. bending, twisting, walking, climbing stairs)
