REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma/GED
- This employer will perform a background check
- Be a minimum of step 6 in ORO
- Have completed minimum of 2 hours of training on recognizing and reporting child abuse and neglect that is
specific to Oregon Law within 30 days of employment.
- Have completed CCLD approved health and safety training within 30 days of employment. AND
- If the center is licensed to care for infants, have completed the CCLD approved safe sleep training within 30
days of employment. AND
- Have current certification in first aid and pediatric CPR within 90 days of employment. Training must have
practical hands-on instruction; therefore, online training is not acceptable.

- Bilingual English/Spanish
JOB DUTIES
- Provide positive feedback and support to classroom staff.
- Implement and comply with the program's work plan and policies
- Assist in planning and conducting classroom meetings and team-building strategies.
- Participate in regular classroom meetings with staff and the classroom supervisor.
- Assist in the planning and execution of strategies for building and providing ongoing training for assistant teachers and of volunteers for the program.
- Supervision of children at all times.
- Complete all program documentation as required.
HOURS:
- 40 hours a week
PAY:
- Depends on Experience starts at $21
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Maneuver up to 35 pounds
EMPLOYER COMMENTS

Language skill requirement or preference: Able to speak Spanish preferred. Able to read Spanish preferred. Able to write Spanish preferred. School is dual immersion. Students are taught in Spanish
