Job Description Delivery Driver
Sanson Staffing has partnered with a leading manufacturer for a reliable and safety-focused Delivery Driver to support their manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for safely transporting construction materials to vendors and local clients. In addition to driving, the role includes loading/unloading materials, operating a forklift, and assisting with general warehouse tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities · Drive company truck and 40 foot gooseneck trailer to deliver materials to active construction sites. · Load and unload materials using forklifts and other equipment, following safety protocols. · Communicate with job site teams and the Shipping Manager to coordinate deliveries. · Stage materials in the warehouse for upcoming deliveries. · Assist with general warehouse duties when not on delivery routes. · Follow all applicable DOT regulations, local traffic laws, and company safety standards.
Qualifications · Experience with a gooseneck trailer · Clean driving record and forklift experience. · Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor. · Experience operating flatbeds, trailers, and forklifts preferred. · Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently and as part of a team. · Year-round availability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Work Environment · Job sites are located throughout the area. · Based at our warehouse in Minneapolis · Role includes both outdoor and indoor tasks in a construction/warehouse environment. · Work may occasionally include overtime, depending on project needs.
