- Providing companionship, encouragement, and emotional support
- Preparing meals and assisting with light housekeeping
- Engaging clients in appropriate activities and social interaction
- Providing medication reminders
- Assisting with daily living activities
- Helping with bathing, dressing, grooming, walking, and feeding
- Observing and reporting changes in a client’s condition or needs
- Promoting client safety, dignity, comfort, and independence
