The Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal will support multiple attorneys across a mixed caseload involving motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and medical malpractice matters. This primarily office-based role will coordinate case management, client and medical documentation, litigation support, and trial preparation using Case Peer and Lead Docket, with opportunities for expanded case ownership.
Responsibilities
- Manage personal injury cases from intake through settlement or trial preparation.
- Conduct client intake and maintain clear, organized case files.
- Support discovery activities, including document collection and responses.
- Prepare legal documents, correspondence, and court filings.
- Conduct legal research and review medical records.
- Coordinate depositions and manage attorney calendars and deadlines.
- Provide settlement support and assist with trial preparation.
- Use Case Peer and Lead Docket to track case activity and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in personal injury litigation support.
- Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with personal injury law and litigation support.
- Strong legal research and legal document preparation skills.
- Experience with case management software, including Case Peer and Lead Docket.
- Experience reviewing medical records.
- Strong case management, attention to detail, and client communication skills.
