Provide compassionate, dependable in-home support for older adults, individuals with disabilities, and post-acute recovery patients. The Sitter delivers companionship-focused, personal-care-focused, and balanced caregiving support through independent client care, collaboration with a caregiving team, and supervision from a nurse. Assignments may include in-home care and local client visits.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and meaningful engagement for clients.
- Assist with personal care and daily living needs.
- Prepare meals according to client needs and preferences.
- Provide medication reminders as directed.
- Support safe mobility and movement.
- Monitor client safety and report concerns to the caregiving team or supervising nurse.
- Perform light housekeeping to help maintain a comfortable home environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least one year of experience in home caregiving.
- Training in home health care or caregiving.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Experience with patient monitoring, personal care assistance, medication reminders, and vital signs monitoring.
- Safety awareness and documentation skills.
- Empathy and effective communication.
