Compensation: $130,000 – $210,000+ Base Salary (Commensurate with Experience) + Performance Bonus

Key Responsibilities:
\n
\n

- Independently manage a caseload of insurance defense and general liability matters.
- Handle all phases of litigation, from initial case evaluation and pre-suit investigation through discovery, depositions, mediation, and trial preparation.
- Draft pleadings, motions, dispositive motions, discovery requests/responses, and other legal documents.
- Conduct and defend depositions involving plaintiffs, witnesses, experts, and corporate representatives.
- Handle court appearances, hearings, mediations, and other litigation-related proceedings.

Qualifications & Requirements:
\n
\n
- \n
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in good standing with the Louisiana State Bar.
- 2+ years of litigation experience, preferably in Insurance Defense, General Liability, Personal Injury Defense, or related practice areas.
- Experience handling discovery, depositions, motion practice, court appearances, and litigation strategy.
- Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage a caseload and work effectively in a 100% remote environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.

Salary and Other Compensation
\n
The annual salary for this position is between $130,000 – $210,000. Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
