Make a meaningful difference in the lives of K-5th grade students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a supportive school environment. This full-time contract position offers immediate start and runs through May 28, 2027. You’ll have the opportunity to help young learners thrive by providing essential speech and language services designed to meet their unique needs.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY)
- Experience working in school settings with elementary-aged children is highly valued
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech and language services to students in grades K-5
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary team members to support student progress
- Maintain timely and accurate records of evaluations, sessions, and outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for adaptive strategies and accommodations
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and growth
