Job Description
A well-established skilled trades staffing firm is hiring a Skilled Trades Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruiting for its field workforce pipeline in the Syracuse market. In this role, you'll source, screen, and place skilled tradespeople with client job sites; working closely with the sales team to make sure every order is filled with the right person, fast.

Responsibilities:

- Manage full-cycle, high-volume recruiting to build and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified tradespeople
- Source, screen, and interview candidates using standardized assessments, both virtually and in person
- Fill client orders by matching tradespeople with proven safety and skill records to project needs
- Maintain accurate candidate records and lead lists to track skill sets, interests, and availability
- Drive retention through ongoing engagement, relationship-building, and utilization strategies
- Partner closely with the sales team to align worker availability with client demand and support order fulfillment
- Monitor project timelines and worker assignments, providing proactive updates on availability and project end dates
- Ensure all candidates meet safety qualifications and maintain accurate safety and training records
- Provide inside sales and client-facing support as needed

Requirements & Qualifications:
\n
- \n
- Previous recruiting experience required; background in staffing, HR, or client/customer relations preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with an applicant tracking system (ATS) a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Comfortable using data to guide decisions and drive results
- Construction industry knowledge a plus, but not required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, but not required
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
- Regular and predictable attendance required — this is an in-office position in Syracuse, NY
