Terra Talent Consulting is hiring an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician – PLC & Robotics for a direct-hire opportunity in Twinsburg, OH. This is a hands-on industrial maintenance position supporting complex automated manufacturing equipment in a high-volume production environment.
The Industrial Maintenance Technician – PLC & Robotics will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, PLC, and robotic systems while helping maintain equipment reliability and minimize production downtime at the Twinsburg, OH facility.
Available Openings & Shifts
1 Opening – 2nd Shift
- Monday through Friday
- 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
1 Opening – 3rd Shift
- Sunday through Thursday
- 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
This position is expected to average approximately 50–60 hours per week, including overtime based on production and maintenance needs.
Candidates must be able to work on-site in Twinsburg, OH and commit to either the 2nd-shift or 3rd-shift schedule.

What You'll Do
As an Industrial Maintenance Technician – PLC & Robotics in Twinsburg, OH, you will:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, robotic, and combustion-system problems.
- Troubleshoot automated manufacturing and die-casting equipment.
- Navigate and interpret Allen-Bradley PLC ladder logic to identify equipment faults.
- Work with SLC 500, PLC-5, and ControlLogix systems.
- Read and troubleshoot from electrical and hydraulic schematics.
- Diagnose robotic-system problems and modify robot positions when necessary.
- Troubleshoot and maintain ABB robotic equipment.
- Install, move, align, repair, and maintain production machinery.
- Perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and welding repairs.
- Complete preventive and proactive maintenance on plant equipment.
- Use machine-shop equipment for repair and maintenance activities.
- Perform gas and electric welding.
- Document completed machine repairs and maintenance activity.
- Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement repairs designed to prevent recurrence.
The Industrial Maintenance Technician – PLC & Robotics will work closely with production and maintenance teams in Twinsburg, OH to keep manufacturing equipment operating safely and efficiently.
Must-Have Qualifications
To be considered for the Industrial Maintenance Technician – PLC & Robotics opportunity in Twinsburg, OH, candidates must have:
- 48+ months of relevant industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting Allen-Bradley PLCs.
- Experience with hydraulic systems and hydraulic schematics.

- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting capabilities.
- Ability to navigate and interpret SLC 500, PLC-5, and ControlLogix ladder logic.

- Experience maintaining complex manufacturing or automated production equipment.
