The Maintenance Technician will perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This role involves diagnosing and repairing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated production equipment to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated production equipment.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and respond quickly to emergency breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring equipment issues.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing downtime and increasing equipment reliability.
- Execute scheduled preventive maintenance activities in accordance with maintenance plans and manufacturer recommendations.
- Monitor equipment performance and participate in predictive maintenance activities to identify potential failures before they occur.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and equipment histories.
Essential Skills
- Experience in mechanic repair, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated production equipment.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience as a Maintenance Technician.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mount Vernon, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $35.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
