Step into a fulfilling role supporting students’ communication and learning as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) in a vibrant school community near Albany, NY. Your expertise will be valued as you deliver speech and language services onsite, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and guiding approximately 40-50 students to achieve their fullest potential. Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current NY SLP license in good standing
- TSHH (Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped) or TSSLD (Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities) – DOE certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Prior school-based SLP experience is a plus but not required
- Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and design individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders
- Deliver direct therapy, consultation, and support for students’ speech and language needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational teams to optimize student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation to meet special education regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student plans
