Job Description
Site Superintendent
We’re looking for a hands-on leader who knows how to run the field. As Site Superintendent, you’ll take charge of day-to-day construction on treatment plants, pump stations, and process-piping projects. You’ll keep crews moving, schedules on track, and safety and quality standards tight - making sure each job is built right, on time, and within budget.
What You’ll Do
- Run all on-site construction activities for water/wastewater treatment plants, lift or booster stations, pump systems, and related piping work.
- Schedule crews, coordinate subcontractors, manage workflow, and track progress to keep production steady.
- Make sure all work follows the plans, specs, and contract requirements.
- Enforce safety every day - following OSHA and local standards to keep everyone on site protected.
- Stay ahead of inspections, testing, and quality checks to make sure the work meets technical and regulatory requirements.
- Manage site logistics - equipment, materials, deliveries, layout - to keep the job running smoothly.
- Keep solid daily reports: manpower, equipment, production, and any field issues that come up.
- Be the go-to person on site for the project manager, engineers, inspectors, and client reps.
- Spot potential problems early - design conflicts, late deliveries, manpower gaps - and find solutions before they impact the schedule or budget.
What You Bring
- 7–10 years of construction experience, including at least 5 years running work as a Superintendent or Senior Foreman.
- Experience building water/wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, or process-piping projects is a big plus.
- Solid understanding of civil, structural, mechanical, and piping systems.
- Proven ability to lead crews and subcontractors and keep multiple trades working efficiently together.
- Strong communication and organization skills - you know how to keep the team, the office, and the client aligned.
- OSHA 30 certification (or able to get it before starting).
- Comfortable reading and enforcing construction drawings and specs.
- Reliable with field documentation; daily reports, photos, and progress updates.
- Willing to travel across Central Texas.
