Position Responsibilities

As an HVAC Certified Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the property's overall condition and ensuring resident satisfaction.

Your duties will include:

• Diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems and equipment
• Performing preventive maintenance on heating and cooling systems
• Completing service requests accurately and efficiently
• Troubleshooting electrical, plumbing, appliance, and general maintenance issues
• Preparing vacant apartments for new move-ins
• Conducting inspections and identifying maintenance concerns
• Responding to emergency maintenance situations as needed
• Maintaining detailed records of completed work orders
• Ensuring compliance with safety policies and community standards
• Supporting the upkeep of common areas, amenities, and building systems

QualificationsRequired Qualifications

• HVAC Certification (EPA Certification preferred)
• Previous apartment maintenance, residential maintenance, or related experience
• Knowledge of HVAC troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance
• Experience with basic plumbing, electrical, appliance, and carpentry repairs
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Reliable and dependable work ethic
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical maintenance tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• Multifamily housing experience
• CPO Certification
• Additional maintenance certifications
• Experience using work order management systems
