Data Analyst - SAWS

Position Title: Data Analyst

Billing Rate: $61.94/hr

Pay Rate: $40-45/hr W2 // $50/hr CTC /1099

Location: 100% remote, unless requested for onsite meetings.

Project Length: 6 - 18 months

Job Description:

General job duties include assisting with developing and implementing data standards and processes for data integrity, while ensuring metadata is captured correctly, and creating methods for monitoring and reporting any data discrepancies. Support stakeholders, subject matter experts, user communities and other personnel to ensure they are following agreed-upon data governance procedures. Assist with creating and maintaining common data dictionaries, catalogs and tools or methods that support data standards, quality, and streamlining data management.

Project Description:

To establish and implement a data governance framework for our Asset Management, and GIS data domains.

Key Skillsets:

• Bachelor's degree in computer or information science
• Strong background in large-scale, shared data environments. Preferable candidate would have experience in Water/Wastewater space include Water Assets, GIS, Workorder and Asset Management
• Excellent technical abilities, strong communication skills, and strong project management and organizational skills
• Relevant technical skills or knowledge may include data modeling, SQL programming (SQL Server or Oracle), and Microsoft Office
• Effective analytical abilities in order to examine existing processes/workflows/dataflows and make recommendations for improvements
