Location: Orlando, Florida
Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is seeking an experienced Insurance Litigation Paralegal to support a busy litigation practice in Orlando, Florida. This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented paralegal with a strong background in insurance litigation who thrives in a fast-paced, trial-focused environment.
Responsibilities

Support attorneys throughout all phases of insurance litigation.

Prepare, organize, and manage case files from inception through trial.

Draft and prepare pleadings, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, notices, and correspondence.

Coordinate and manage document production and eDiscovery.

Assist with deposition preparation, trial preparation, and trial support.

Maintain litigation calendars and monitor court deadlines.

Communicate with clients, experts, court personnel, and opposing counsel.

Organize exhibits, trial binders, and other litigation materials.
QualificationsRequired
-
Minimum 3+ years of insurance litigation paralegal experience, with insurance litigation serving as the primary focus of recent employment.

Plaintiff-side insurance litigation experience is strongly preferred. Candidates with substantial defense-side insurance litigation experience will also be considered.

Extensive experience supporting litigation matters from inception through resolution.

Strong trial preparation and trial support experience.

Hands-on experience with eDiscovery and document management.

Experience preparing discovery, deposition materials, exhibits, and trial notebooks.

Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
Preferred

Stable employment history with established litigation firms.

Experience supporting multiple attorneys in a high-volume litigation practice.

Strong knowledge of Florida court rules and litigation procedures.

Candidates whose experience is primarily outside of insurance litigation will not be considered.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate has built their career supporting insurance litigation attorneys and is comfortable managing complex litigation files, coordinating discovery, and assisting with trial preparation. Insurance litigation should represent a significant portion of the candidate's recent experience.
