We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Trim Carpenter to join a residential construction team in the Flathead Valley. This position involves working on high-end residential new construction projects, with a primary focus on finish carpentry, detailed trim work, and completing the final touches that bring a home together.

The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for quality, previous carpentry experience, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship. Experience leading a small crew is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality interior trim and finish carpentry on residential construction projects.

• Install baseboards, crown molding, door and window trim, and other custom woodwork.

• Complete detailed finishing work to ensure quality and accuracy.

• Assist with framing, siding, and general carpentry tasks as needed.

• Read and interpret construction plans, measurements, and specifications.

• Identify and correct finishing details before project completion.

• Coordinate with team members and other trades to keep projects moving efficiently.

• Lead or assist in managing a small crew while maintaining quality and productivity.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.

Qualifications

• Previous residential carpentry experience required; trim and finish carpentry experience strongly preferred.

• Experience with high-end residential construction and detailed woodwork is a plus.

• Ability to operate carpentry hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Previous experience leading or supervising a small carpentry crew preferred.

• Strong communication skills, integrity, and a positive attitude.

• Ability to work efficiently, manage time, and meet project deadlines.

• Willingness to assist with various carpentry tasks throughout the construction process.
