Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, competent Front-Desk Coordinator to join our team and step in for a long-time employee who is retiring. At this time, dental administrative experience is requested, and a stand-out candidate would have some clinical experience or certifications! Competence and experience will directly result in highly competitive pay!
You will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while professionally multitasking many in-house duties and patient coordination. This role requires strong organizational and skills, a patient attitude, attention to detail, and a passion for serving the community.
Duties
- Greet patients in a courteous and professional manner
- Answer and follow up on incoming calls with excellent communication skills
- Address patient inquiries and resolve issues promptly
- Coordinate care with other dental practices and specialists
- Facilitate treatment scheduling by explaining the proposed services and financial aspects
- Responsibly and transparently handle insurance verification and financial collections
- Correspond with insurance carriers regarding claim payments, claim denials, and patient inquiries
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars
- Communicate effectively with clients, both in person and via email or phone
- Complete supportive administrative functions such as ordering, making reservations, and maintaining a pristine and clean office
Skills
- Proficiency in phone communication, Microsoft products, and typing skills (75WPM is strongly preferred)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask efficiently
- Experience preferred with data entry and office administration (willing to train the right candidate)
- Prior knowledge of Eaglesoft is preferred (currently running version 24.20)
- Excellent communication skills and command of English grammar, both verbal and written
