Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Therapist role based in San Diego, CA. The Therapist will provide individual, family, and/or group therapy, including intake assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing clinical sessions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting psychosocial assessments, developing and updating treatment plans, documenting progress notes, and coordinating care with other providers as needed. The Therapist will use evidence-based interventions tailored to client needs, maintain appropriate clinical boundaries, and adhere to all professional and legal standards. The role also involves participating in team meetings, case consultations, and occasional outreach or educational activities that support the mission of Del Rae Behavioral Health.\n
Qualifications

- Licensure or eligibility as a therapist (e.g., LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, Psychologist) in California, with strong skills in individual and family therapy.
- Experience conducting clinical assessments, developing treatment plans, and using evidence-based therapeutic modalities (such as CBT, DBT, or trauma-informed approaches).
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate, timely clinical documentation and navigating electronic health record systems.
- Strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to culturally responsive, inclusive care and the ability to work effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds and identities.
- Master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related behavioral health field.
- Ability to manage a full caseload, maintain professional boundaries, and follow ethical and legal standards in mental health practice.
- Prior experience in outpatient behavioral health, community mental health, or similar settings is preferred.
