Location: Audie L. Murphy VA Medical Center San Antonio, TX
- Shift: Monday through Friday.
- Hours: Generally 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Job Summary: We are seeking Board Certified Interventional Radiologists to provide high-quality on-site physician services for the South Texas Veterans Health Care System. This role is pivotal in delivering specialized care to our nation's Veterans within a Fixed-Price Task Order framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a full range of interventional radiology procedures in accordance with VA and Department of Veterans Affairs specifications.
- Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary healthcare team at the Audie L. Murphy VA Medical Center.
- Ensure compliance with all federal healthcare staffing regulations and VA-specific credentialing requirements.
- Maintain clinical documentation within the VAs electronic health record system.
Qualifications:
- Education: MD or DO from an accredited program.
- Certification: Board Certification in Interventional Radiology.
- Licensure: Full, active, and unrestricted license in any U.S. State, Territory, or Commonwealth.
- Experience: Proven track record in IR procedures; prior experience with VA or DoD facilities is highly preferred.
