Director of Purchasing – Long-Term Care
Luxor Healthcare is seeking an experienced Director of Purchasing to oversee procurement operations across our long-term care facilities.
This is not an entry-level role. Candidates must have prior purchasing experience specifically in long-term care or healthcare settings.
What You’ll Do:

Manage purchasing operations for multiple skilled nursing facilities

Negotiate pricing and contracts with vendors

Ensure timely ordering and delivery of medical, dietary, and facility supplies

Monitor inventory levels and control costs across buildings
-
Standardize purchasing processes and ensure compliance
-
Work closely with Administrators, DONs, and department heads
Requirements:

Previous purchasing experience in long-term care is required

Strong understanding of SNF operations, supplies, and vendor landscape

Proven ability to control costs without compromising quality

Highly organized and detail-oriented

Ability to manage multiple facilities and priorities

Strong communication and negotiation skills
