American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Stepdown Intermediate Care night shift position on a dedicated Stroke Unit requiring 2+ years of experience and an IN or compact RN license.

- Work in the Stepdown Intermediate Care unit, a dedicated 30-bed Stroke Unit
- Patient population includes medical, DKA, cardiac, GI, renal, sepsis, trauma, and surgical cases
- 1:4 nurse to patient ratio
- Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
- 13-week assignment length

Requirements\n

- Active IN or compact RN license required
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Current AHA ACLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience required
- Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address

- Provide dedicated stroke and stepdown-level nursing care across a broad range of complex medical and surgical patient conditions
- Radius rule applies which may affect pay rate eligibility for candidates living locally, varying by state
- Local candidates are accepted, though at a reduced rate if within the facility's radius
- Candidates should discuss extension opportunities with their manager approximately 45 days before the assignment end date
