Moxie Manages is growing, and we're looking for a skilled, dependable, and hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our team in Pueblo, Colorado!
Our newly acquired apartment community is undergoing exciting renovations and improvements, and we need someone who takes pride in their work, solves problems, and helps create a safe, attractive, and well-maintained place for residents to call home.
What You'll Do
- Complete apartment maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general building systems within your qualifications.
- Perform apartment make-readies, inspections, and preventative maintenance.
- Assist with property improvements, repairs, and renovation-related maintenance.
- Maintain common areas, building exteriors, grounds, and property equipment.
- Identify safety concerns and address maintenance issues proactively.
- Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors when needed.
- Maintain accurate work orders, inventory, and maintenance records in property management software.
- Respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies as scheduled.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of multifamily apartment maintenance experience required.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general repairs.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and ability to travel locally as needed.
- Ability to safely lift 50 pounds and perform physically demanding maintenance work.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Professional, dependable, and resident-focused attitude.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- HVAC/EPA certification preferred.
