About the Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and motivated Real Estate Transactional Attorney to join a sophisticated and growing real estate practice. This position offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, development projects, leasing transactions, and related due diligence activities.


Key Responsibilities

Transaction Management

Manage commercial real estate transactions from inception through closing.

Drafting

Negotiation

Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, easements, and related transactional documents.

Due Diligence

Conduct and analyze due diligence, including title review, surveys, zoning matters, and property-related reports.

Client Advisory

Advise clients on a variety of commercial real estate transactions and legal issues; identify legal risks and develop practical, business-oriented solutions.

Coordination

Coordinate and oversee real estate closings; collaborate with attorneys, clients, lenders, developers, and other stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

Education/Licensure

Admission to the Connecticut Bar is required.

Experience

3–5 years of experience handling commercial real estate transactions, specifically acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing.

Technical Skills

Strong understanding of real estate due diligence, title review, and closing procedures.

Soft Skills

Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills; ability to manage multiple matters independently in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with commercial real estate financing transactions.

Exposure to office, retail, industrial, and mixed-use property transactions.

Experience representing developers, lenders, investors, or commercial property owners.
