Industrial Maintenance Technician – 3rd Shift
EAS Direct Hire is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for a high-volume manufacturing facility. This hands-on position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment to maximize uptime and support safe, reliable operations.
Shift and Compensation
- Shift: 3rd Shift
- Hours: 10:00 PM–6:30 AM
- Weekend availability: Required
- Hourly pay: $36.00–$37.25, based on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced preventive, scheduled, and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and PLC-related problems.
- Complete or assist with major equipment overhauls, system rebuilds, and equipment installations.
- Work closely with production personnel and outside contractors to coordinate repairs and minimize operational disruptions.
- Safely operate forklifts, lifts, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and other maintenance machinery.
- Accurately document completed work, equipment conditions, and maintenance activities in the computerized maintenance management system.
- Communicate equipment issues, repair status, and follow-up needs electronically with maintenance and production team members.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized maintenance work areas.
- Follow all GMP requirements, safety procedures, company policies, and applicable regulatory standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least three years of mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience involving industrial or manufacturing machinery, or five years of equivalent relevant experience.
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, mechanical diagrams, equipment manuals, and machine layout drawings.
- Experience in at least two of the following areas:
- Electrical systems
- Mechanical systems
- Refrigeration
- Plumbing
- Food-manufacturing process controls
- Knowledge of industrial equipment setup, functionality, operating procedures, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance practices.
- Ability to prioritize multiple assignments, plan work effectively, and respond to urgent equipment issues.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be available to work the third-shift schedule and weekends as required.
