Job DescriptionMy Next Career Path Staffing (MNCP Staffing) is a strong and growing nationwide staffing agency with more than 20 years of staffing and recruiting experience. Our corporate office is located in Las Vegas, Nevada, with recruiting, operations, sales, and leadership support available locally and virtually as needed.
As MNCP Staffing continues to expand our presence throughout Houston and the Texas market, we are seeking an experienced Recruiter who understands the local workforce and can successfully recruit across skilled industrial, oil & gas, specialty, warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, and high-volume positions.
Position SummaryThe Houston Recruiter will be responsible for full-cycle recruiting and developing strong candidate pipelines for current and future client needs. This position will work closely with our Houston-based Senior Business Development Manager to support new and existing clients, understand incoming job orders, establish recruiting priorities, and successfully fill positions as MNCP Staffing continues growing its presence in the Houston market.
The Recruiter will also partner with MNCP Staffing's nationwide recruiting, operations, sales, and leadership teams to share resources, support recruiting needs, and ensure clients and candidates receive consistent service across our markets.The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, responsive, and experienced in sourcing hard-to-find talent while also being comfortable managing high-volume recruiting needs. This individual should understand that successful recruiting goes beyond matching keywords on a resume and be able to evaluate a candidate's actual experience, reliability, communication, and overall fit for each client.
Key Responsibilities• Manage full-cycle recruiting from sourcing and screening through submittal, interview, offer, onboarding, and start.
• Partner directly with our Houston-based Senior Business Development Manager to understand client needs, prioritize job orders, develop recruiting strategies, and fill positions efficiently.
• Maintain strong communication with the Senior Business Development Manager regarding candidate pipelines, submittals, interviews, hiring challenges, and order status.
• Partner with MNCP Staffing's nationwide recruiting team to share candidate resources, recruiting strategies, market knowledge, and support across locations.
• Recruit for skilled industrial, oil & gas, manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, specialty, and high-volume positions.
• Source qualified candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, social media, referrals, networking, databases, community resources, and other recruiting channels.
• Develop and maintain strong candidate pipelines for immediate and anticipated Houston-area hiring needs.
• Conduct detailed candidate screenings to verify skills, experience, employment history, availability, compensation expectations, and overall fit.
• Recruit for skilled positions such as Millwrights, Maintenance Technicians, Welders, Pipefitters, CNC Operators, Electricians, Equipment Operators, and other industrial specialties.
• Support warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, general labor, inventory, logistics, and other high-volume staffing needs.
• Understand client job requirements and present qualified candidates with clear and detailed screening information.
• Coordinate interviews, offers, pre-employment requirements, onboarding, and start dates.
• Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
• Build relationships within the Houston-area candidate market and continuously develop new recruiting resources.
• Maintain accurate and timely candidate and recruiting activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Partner with MNCP Staffing's corporate recruiting, operations, account management, sales, and leadership teams for additional support as needed.
• Assist with recruiting strategies for new Houston clients as the local business development team continues expanding the market.
• Meet established recruiting activity, submittal, interview, placement, and performance goals.
• Represent MNCP Staffing professionally with candidates, clients, community partners, and recruiting resources.
Qualifications• 3+ years of staffing agency or high-volume recruiting experience preferred.
• Houston-area recruiting experience strongly preferred.
• Experience recruiting within skilled industrial, oil & gas, manufacturing, specialty trades, warehouse, logistics, or similar industries.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit both specialized skilled candidates and high-volume hourly employees.
• Strong sourcing and candidate pipeline development skills.
• Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems, job boards, LinkedIn, and other recruiting platforms.
• Ability to understand technical job requirements and ask detailed screening questions to verify candidate experience.
• Strong interviewing, communication, organizational, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage multiple open positions and changing priorities in a fast-paced staffing environment.
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to work independently while remaining connected to the Houston and nationwide teams.
• Knowledge of the Houston employment market and surrounding industrial areas is highly preferred.
