Job Title: Quality Operator
TRAINING WILL TEMPORARILY BE WORKING A DAY SHIFT WORKING BETWEEN 6a.m.--4p.m. (TBD) until proficient to work independently and will then begin working the afternoon shift (11am-7pm)
Job Summary:
The Quality Operator will assist and support the Quality laboratory and team. This role involves collecting, preparing, samples for dimensional, mechanical, and other requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

Collect and prepare Quality samples for dimensional testing; cut, buff, deburr, etc.

Gather and cut samples for mechanical testing using CNC machines, quality lab saws, hardness machine, TYE machine, etc.

Release FAIR(s) and physical samples to customers.

Prepare packing and UPS labels to release quality samples to customers.

Support Quality/Operations to verify/confirm quality sample lot numbers and make sure the physical samples match the information in the EPICS system.

Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, filler gauges, measuring tape, etc. to check basics product dimensions.

Support Quality Lab Tech to calibrate gauges and measuring devices.

Support monthly Inventory counts

Support RMA’s count returns, and labeling disposition assigned as per Quality Mgr./designee

Follow all quality procedures, work instructions, and safety guidelines.
Physical Requirements:
-
Ability to perform physical tasks, including extensive standing, walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, and lifting up to 75 pounds.

Must be able to read/use the Quality Lab equipment without exceptions; CNC, band saws, chop saws, buffing wheels, deburring wheels, tensile eq, hardness test, measuring tools etc.

Capable of working in extreme temperature conditions
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Quality Control or Manufacturing environment.
High school diploma or G.E.D./State Equivalent.
Must be at least 18yrs of age or older
A 'Can do' attitude with strong attention to detail and the ability to work well in a team.
Excellent attendance record and work ethic, and must speak, read and write in English.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint, etc.)

Minimum Requirements

1-2yrs in Manufacturing and/or production experience .

Strong problem and analytical skills.

Microsoft Office proficiency.
