Continuum is looking for a skilled, compassionate PRN Caregiver to support a female client in her home. This is an as-needed (PRN) position covering up to 12-hour day shifts. The ideal candidate is confident with hands-on care, proactive with housekeeping, and comfortable working in a home with dogs.

Caregiver Schedule

• PRN / As-needed coverage
• 12-hour day shifts: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Flexible availability preferred

PRN Caregiver Responsibilities

• Provide full assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and hygiene
• Perform gait belt pivot transfers safely
• Assist with mobility, positioning, and safety monitoring
• Prepare meals (client may occasionally choose to cook) and assist with feeding if needed
• Perform light housekeeping (vacuuming, bed-making, tidying, etc.)
• Respond appropriately to client requests for help; assisting with household tasks is required
• Provide companionship and maintain a calm, supportive environment
• Communicate clearly with family and care team
• Comfortable assisting in a home with dogs

PRN Caregiver Requirements

• Experience with mobility-impaired clients required
• Strong gait belt / transfer skills
• Dependable, flexible, and professional
• Must be comfortable with dogs
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts

Preferred PRN Caregiver Qualifications

• Takes initiative and works independently
• Patient, kind, and respectful of client preferences
• Strong communication skills
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation
• Able to pass background screening
• Physically able to assist with transfers (with assistive devices)
