What You’ll Do
As a Mitigation Technician, you’ll respond to residential and commercial property losses and perform hands-on mitigation and restoration work.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform water extraction, structural drying, and dehumidification
- Set up, monitor, and remove drying equipment
- Assist with fire, smoke, and mold mitigation
- Apply antimicrobial treatments as needed
- Remove damaged materials and assist with demolition
- Document job progress with photos, notes, and required paperwork
- Communicate professionally with customers and project managers
- Maintain and properly use restoration equipment
- Follow company and OSHA safety procedures
- Participate in the on-call rotation for emergency losses
What We’re Looking For
- 1+ year of disaster restoration or mitigation experience required
- Water damage, fire damage, mold remediation, or related restoration experience
- IICRC certifications are a plus
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and perform physical work
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in residential and commercial environments
- Willingness to participate in an on-call emergency rotation
