SBHIS helps Medicare recipients find the plan that actually fits their life — with heart. We're looking for a bilingual Receptionist/Office Assistant to be the first friendly face across two of our LA-area offices and keep things running smoothly day to day.
Schedule & location
- Monday & Tuesday, 9:00AM -6:00PM : Huntington Park office
- Wednesday–Friday, 9:00AM -6:00PM: Cesar Chavez office

What you'll do
- Greet visitors and callers warmly, in person and on the phone, and direct them to the right person
- Answer, screen, and route inbound calls
- Serve as a go-to point of contact for clients, agents, and staff — answering questions and pointing people to the right information
- Maintain the visitor sign-in log and issue badges
- Prepare and edit documents — correspondence, reports, memos, emails
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and travel for managers and supervisors
- Keep office supplies stocked and coordinate equipment maintenance
- Handle day-to-day clerical work: copies, faxes, filing, and other admin support
- Spot and resolve small administrative issues before they become big ones
What you bring
- Bilingual (English/Spanish preferred), strong written and verbal skills in both
- Self-starter who thrives with minimal supervision in a fast-paced office
- Reliable transportation between two office locations during the week
- Sharp organization and time management
- Discretion with sensitive information (HIPAA-aware)
- A customer-service mindset with good judgment
