Heavy-Duty Fleet Maintenance Technician II
Job Description
Job Description Day-in-the-Life
You clock in, scan the work orders, and roll a rig into the bay. You lead with a full FMCSA-compliant inspection, log findings with precise notes, and move straight into scheduled PMs. A driver flags a vibration—no problem. You diagnose, repair, and record parts usage against the unit. Before lunch, you swap in minor body-work touch-ups and coach a Level 1 tech through safe setup. By shift end, the floor is clean, paperwork is tight, and another truck heads out road-ready.
