The VIP Tour & Charter Bus Company, a motor coach company based in Portland Maine for over 40 years now, is seeking an experienced Full-Time Diesel Mechanic to run our maintenance garage.

We are a small business with a focus on safety and customer service in the exciting travel and tourism industry. Our Portland Maine operation offers a great opportunity to work in a flexible and rewarding environment while supporting a diverse fleet.

We service equipment from Cummins, Allison, Detroit Diesel, Ford, Van Hool, MCI, and Prevost, providing a wide variety of hands-on experience for motivated technicians.

What You’ll Do:

Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on motorcoaches

Ensure safety and compliance across all serviced vehicles

Work independently and efficiently during assigned hours

Contribute to a reliable, professional fleet operation

Order parts

What We’re Looking For:

Diesel repair experience (required)

Own tools (required)

Coach or bus experience (required)

CDL license (a plus, but not required)

Flexible availability and a commitment to quality work

Strong work ethic and self-motivation
