Hardware Test Technician (Silicon)

Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Support silicon-side hardware testing and extended data collection activities in

\n

• SLT lab. To ensure continuous (round-the-clock) operation of test systems with

\n

• minimum to no technical modifications, focusing on reliable data collection,

\n

• monitoring and test execution during day and night shifts.

\n

• Follow detailed test instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

\n

• Execute predefined test cases, collect data across test and characterization

\n

• procedures for silicon and hardware validation.

\n

• Log and organize test results, anomalies, and observations accurately.

\n

• Monitor ongoing test setups and ensure proper operation.

\n

• Report equipment malfunction or test deviations immediately.

\n

• Support 24x7 testing operations and cover night shift schedules.

\n

• Handle lab equipment safely and maintain a well-documented environment.

\n

\n

Minimum Qualification:

\n

\n
• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Electrical, Computer, or Electronics Engineering or

\n

• related fields.

\n

• 2+ years of professional experience in deploying, maintaining robust test

\n

• execution environments and hardware validation.

\n

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with cross-

\n

• functional teams.

\n

\n

Preferred Qualifications:

\n

\n
• Experience working specifically within a semiconductor, silicon validation, or

\n

• high-volume manufacturing (HVM) environment.

\n

• Direct experience with SLT hardware, software, or methodologies.

\n

• Understanding of Statistical Analysis methods as applied to production yield data

\n

• and quality control.

\n

• Familiarity with high-end SLT test systems architecture.

\n

• Knowledge of embedded software and hardware systems, Linux/Android

\n

• environments.

\n

• Experience with defect tracking, code and project management tools (e.g. git,

\n

• JIRA).
