ROtating 48hrs Position ONLY
\n Peds Respiratory Therapist (RRT): Must have 2yrs recent acute, inpatient experience at L1 or L2 Peds trauma facility or facility wtih 300 beds+. Must have PICU experience.
\n Patient Population: Mixed acute and chronic breathing problems. Will see PICU & Peds-age patients.
\n Facility Info: Oishei is the only L4 NICU/L1 Peds Trauma in the area seeing the sickest of the sick. 64-bed NICU (L4), 20-bed PICU (L1), 20-bed ED w/ 4 trauma bays (L1), 3 med-surg floors. Manager/Supervisor is ON CALL 24/7/365.
\n Special Skills:
\n 1. Obtain ABGs - Nursing does not perform.
\n 2. Vent care & maintenance
\n Equipment Used: Servo I, V500, Astrals; Bunnell Jets, Oscillators, Bubble CPAP, Hi-Flow.
\n Patients per shift: 10-20 based on acuity/area assigned. PICU is 1:10.
\n Floating: Will float to support all units.
\n Shifts: Rotating 48hrs (mix of days & nights), 6-13wk contract; every other weekend & every other holiday. Not able to accept scheduling requests.
\n Required Certs & Licenses: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NBRC | NY License
