We are looking for a detail-oriented Auditing Clerk to join a casino audit team in Las Vegas, Nevada. This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured, process-driven work and can contribute to accurate daily audit support in a fast-paced gaming environment. The audit clerk will focus primarily on slot audit activities while also assisting with other operational audit functions as business needs require. The ideal candidate for the Audit Clerk position is an entry level candidate who has a desire to learn, can follow tasks outlined to complete the daily requirements and who are technologically savvy. This role is onsite, 5 days a week, and weekends are required.
Responsibilities for the Audit Clerk:
• Perform daily slot audit activities and prepare routine reports with a high level of accuracy.
• Assist with audit support for revenue share, cage operations, table games, and other gaming areas when coverage is needed.
• Complete assigned tasks in accordance with established audit procedures and internal controls.
• Enter, review, and reconcile audit data within casino system.
• Work closely with audit and finance staff to help maintain smooth day-to-day departmental operations.
• Verify transactional information and identify discrepancies for follow-up with the appropriate team members.
• Provide cross-functional support to additional audit areas, including race and sports, as priorities shift.
• Contribute to dependable weekend audit coverage and maintain productivity during scheduled shifts.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions consistently.
• Basic computer proficiency, including comfort working within business systems and using Microsoft Excel for routine tasks.
• Experience with data entry, daily reconciliation, or transaction review in a structured environment.
• Ability to think critically, recognize inconsistencies, and escalate issues appropriately.
• Willingness to work a schedule that includes weekends, with Monday and Tuesday as regular days off.
• Exposure to casino gaming, gaming law, MICS, or related gaming operations is preferred but not required.
• Team-oriented approach with flexibility to support multiple audit functions as operational needs change.
