PVD Equipment Maintenance Technician – Junior to Senior

Location: Hopewell Junction, NY (on-site)

Employment: Contract-to-hire - 3 months

\n
A leading semiconductor manufacturer is expanding its equipment-maintenance team. Direct AMAT Endura experience is preferred, but technicians with hands-on PVD, metal-deposition, vacuum-system, or related semiconductor equipment experience will be considered.

Responsibilities
\n
- \n
- Perform or support preventive and corrective equipment maintenance
- Troubleshoot hardware, vacuum, electrical, and mechanical faults
- Support chamber cleans, target changes, pump maintenance, and wafer recovery
- Assist with tool qualification and return-to-production
- Complete maintenance documentation and shift pass-downs
- Senior technicians may lead complex repairs and mentor junior team members

Experience
\n
- \n
- AMAT Endura, Lam metals, ULVAC, or other PVD/deposition equipment
- Semiconductor equipment maintenance involving vacuum chambers, pumps, robotics, or gas delivery
- Ability to read schematics and technical procedures
- Cleanroom or high-volume manufacturing experience preferred
