Job DescriptionArchitectural Metal Fabrication Shop looking for a CAD Drafter/Project Manager for Full time in office position. The design position takes architectural basic design ideas and turns them into reality. Also includes creating parts lists, creating submittals, ordering parts, shop fabrication drawings, and managing projects from start to finish.
This is a position in an architectural metal fabrication shop. Will require some creativity for coming up with complex designs for architect/designer approval.
Work closely with procurement teams, estimating, design teams, architects, general contractors, and senior managers to turn ideas into reality. You will be tied with the project from start to finish.
Programs Used: AutoDesk Inventor and AutoCAD
Skills: Must be able to accurately read and understand Architectural Drawings, must be able to use Inventor. (Solidworks experience is a direct crossover)
Ability to ready a tape measure if needed for field measuring. There will be time where we need to visit sites for accurate field measurements.

This is an in office full time position, with business hours Mon-Thur 6am-330pm, and Friday 7am-11am.
