Position Summary
The Unarmed Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe, welcoming, and orderly environment for patients, staff, and visitors at a busy medical clinic. This role requires strong customer service skills, reliability, and the ability to remain attentive and professional during early‐morning operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor clinic entrances and ensure controlled access for patients, staff, and vendors
- Provide a visible security presence to deter disruptive behavior and support a calm environment
- Conduct interior and exterior patrols as assigned
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, or safety concerns and escalate when necessary
- Assist patients and visitors with directions, general inquiries, and support
- Complete daily activity logs and incident reports
- Maintain professional appearance and adhere to all clinic protocols
Qualifications
- Prior security, customer service, or medical‐facility experience preferred
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must pass background screening and meet all state requirements
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work early‐morning shifts consistently
Compensation
- $18.00 an hour
- Bi-Weekly pay
